Winter Arts Escapes Around Michiana: Galleries, Studios, and Creative Spaces
When winter starts to feel long, it's always nice to explore a new interest—or perhaps revive an old one! Maybe that interest is fine art. Or, perhaps it's pottery, baking, or theater. South Bend Museum - South Bend, IN

The South Bend Museum also offers art classes that can help keep your winter interesting. Their "Intro to Potter's Wheel" class is perfect for beginners. They also offer more advanced ceramics classes, including "Handbuilding" and "Pottery Confidential."
The Lerner - Elkhart, IN

Fernwood Botanical Garden is hosting several artsy events in the coming weeks, including a Plant Love session on February 8. Participants in Plant Love will not only learn all about germinating plants but also make a special Valentine's Day card incorporating seeds.
The cost to participate in Plant Love is $20 per person, or $16 for Fernwood members. You must pre-register on Fernwood's website. Just make sure you set aside some time to look at Niles homes for sale while you're in the area.
Krasl Art Center - St. Joseph, MI
