Cafe Navarre – 101 North Michigan Street
Cafe Navarre is a popular South Bend eatery located in the downtown area. Its Old World ambiance and breathtaking architectural details take you back to a different time in history. Well-known by locals for its fine cuisine including Bolognese slow braised veal, pork, and beef with pasta, Filet Mignon with black truffles, and Wild Mushroom soup, there's no shortage of mouth-watering flavors here. Nom Nom Pho is a Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of downtown. They serve a variety of dishes that include spicy street foods, Bun Noodle salads, Banh Mi sandwiches, Shrimp or Pork Rice Platters, and Savory Soups simmered for 24 hours before serving. Favorite soups include Beef Pho and Seafood Pho, Miso Ramen with chicken or pork, and Tom Yum Noodles, a tangy cabbage and mushroom soup with tofu & pineapple. A nice touch here, you can choose your spice level to perfectly match your taste buds.

If you're looking for delicious food, tap beer and ale, and a huge selection of whiskeys and cocktails, you don't want to miss The Lauber. You won't find a better place for homemade chicken soup, cheese flatbread, beer-battered fries, Artisan pizza, and warm chocolate cookies topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Signature Cocktails include the Lauber Old Fashioned with butterscotch, and Nothing Good Happens after 2 AM, a dirty martini made with vodka or gin.
