- Potawatomi Park
Potawatomi Park is one of South Bend's most active parks because it's filled with great amenities and activities for adults and kids. - River Manor Park
River Manor Park is a smaller neighborhood park that features a playground for the kids, picnic benches and grills, a trail with exercise features, and athletic courts for basketball, tennis, and pickleball. Although this park is smaller and quieter than Potawatomi Park and Rum Village Park, there is plenty to do here. You can enjoy a family picnic on the grass, watch the kids play on the playground, or join in some pickup games on the basketball court.
- Rum Village Park
Rum Village Park is a nature lover's dream where you can explore wonderful park activities for the entire family. Within 160 acres of rolling woodlands, you can enjoy seeing amphibians, deer, foxes, reptiles, and numerous species of beautiful birds, including nesting owls, woodpeckers, and warblers. St. Patrick's County Park offers wooded trails, lakes and ponds, and views of the St. Joseph River nestled in 398 acres of beautiful scenery. There are canoe rentals, family picnic sites, playgrounds for the kids, hiking trails, a public access boat ramp for the St. Joseph River, and cross-country ski trails during the winter.
