The scariest holiday has arrived! Visit these South Bend Halloween events.

Is Halloween your favorite holiday? In community-minded South Bend, there are plenty of ways to celebrate this fun season. Grab your boo and check out all these favorite local events from our real estate agents.

  • Zoo Boo - Potawatomi Zoo, 500 S Greenlawn Ave
From October 21st through the 23rd, browse the zoo decorated for Halloween with pumpkins, lights, and other decorations. Take a ride on the train or carousel in the crisp fall air. Kids can also trick-or-treat for candy safely on the Trick or Treat Trail, where local businesses have set up trick-or-treating stations. The zoo closes for regular entry on these days.

  • Table or Treat - Mishawaka Riverwalk
On October 22nd from 5 pm until 7 pm, trick-or-treat safely from more than 50 local businesses along the Mishawaka Riverwalk. And that's not all! The Table or Treat event is more like a huge outdoor Halloween party with trick-or-treating. You'll find music and games, plus fun inflatables for that party atmosphere.

  • Newton Park Trunk or Treat - 801 N Michigan, Lakeville
This one is a little outside of South Bend, but the Halloween fun makes it worth the short drive. On October 22nd from 5 pm to 7 pm, enjoy free trick-or-treating. Starting at 6:30 pm, there will also be a Candy Graveyard Grab, which is similar to an Easter egg hunt, where kids can collect as many of the 10,000 candy-filled skulls as they can find.

  • Cops & Goblins - Four Winds Field, 501 W South St
From 5 pm until 7:30 pm on October 24th, enjoy free trick-or-treating at the Coveleski Stadium, home of the South Bend Cubs. This event is free to the public, but tickets are required. You can pick up your free tickets at the South Bend Police Department, Charles Black Community Center, Martin's on either 23rd and Ironwood or Mayflower and Western, or the South Bend Cubs Den Team Store.

  • Eddy Street Commons Trick or Treat - Notre Dame
On Tuesday, October 25th from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, you'll find trick-or-treating at nearby Notre Dame, in the Eddy Street Commons near Eddy Street and East Angela Boulevard. There will also be games and crafts, music, and Balloon Twister.

  • Spooktacular Haunted Trail - Unity Gardens, 3701 Prast Blvd
On Friday, October 28th from 3 pm until 7 pm, join your fearless South Bend friends for a night of spooky fun. Walk the haunted trail, test your creativity in a costume contest, and participate in other fun Halloween activities.

  • Indoor Trick or Treat at South Bend Eagles Aerie 435 - 61601 Ironwood Rd
Just in case the weather is less than optimal for trick-or-treating this Halloween, plan on attending the South Bend Eagles Aerie 435 indoor trick-or-treating event. Treat the whole family to an easy hot dog dinner for a small fee, then enjoy Halloween activities including trick-or-treating, a costume contest, and photos with special characters.

  • Halloween Week at Ninja Golf - 12080 Adams Rd, Granger
Ninja Golf is in nearby Granger, just a short drive away from South Bend homes for sale, but the Halloween Week activities should make the drive worthwhile. During this special week, kids in costume play for free, and there are treat bags and a costume contest on the 29th.

One of the best things about South Bend is what a great community it is, with lots of opportunities to connect with your neighbors. For more information about South Bend or to kick off your housing search, contact us today.
