A quaint, independently owned South Bend bookstore, Brain Lair Books focuses on empathy and generating discussion around diversity. Located in the historic Howard Park neighborhood, this family-owned bookstore specializes in used and out-of-print books, so if you're looking for an unusual title, this shop can help you find it. Erasmus Books definitely has a magical, old-school vibe, and you never know what you're going to find when you stop by. The store is open Thursday through Saturday from 12 pm to 6 pm.
